HYBRID OPTION

Students will be required to complete an online theory component before and during the course. Training at the school will be focused on achieving strong practical proficiency in Pedicuring.
With this 4 day Pedicure course (taught in a hybrid format), you will learn to become a Certified Pedicurist. The course provides the comprehensive theory and practical training required to be a successful Pedicurist. Topics covered include foot and toenail anatomy, diseases and disorders, hands on practice in pedicure procedures, French pedicure application, precise polish application, paraffin wax treatment and foot and leg massage techniques. You will also learn proper salon and spa sanitation procedures in accordance with the Canada Health Act. Models required. Quotas required.
ONLINE OPTION
This class requires the student to study ahead of attending a mandatory instructor-led Q & A. Students will receive online access to this class through our online school, Moodle, two weekends prior to the week of your scheduled Day 1. Attending a scheduled Q & A session is a mandatory element of your class, and may also be open to our hybrid students.
Module 1- Theory & Demo Video
Students are required to review the theory manual and watch the step-by-step video demo of the entire Pedicure service, instructed by lead educator, Jacky Tattrie.
Module 2- Q & A Session
Students are asked to please join the live orientation session, which will welcome you to the class and give your instructor the chance to review the expectations of the course. The Q & A session will review the setup of your pedicure station, use of your cuticle nipper, troubleshooting and more. This will also give you an opportunity to ask questions before you begin your practical portion.
Module 3 - Quota Submissions
Students have three weeks for quotas and they are due the day of your exam.
The theory exam will be completed online and your practical exam will be submitted to Moodle. Detailed instructions on your exam will be outlined in the online course upon enrollment.

Students will be required to complete an online theory component before and during the course. Training at the school will be focused on achieving strong practical proficiency in Manicuring & Pedicuring.
This intensive combined Manicure and Pedicure course (taught in a hybrid format) will provide you with the practical skills and theoretic knowledge to become a certified Manicurist & Pedicurist, qualifying you to offer these professional spa services. The program provides comprehensive theory and practical training, which covers topics including client consultation, hand, foot and finger and toenail anatomy, nail disorders and diseases, methods of sterilization and sanitation and demonstrations of superior manicure and pedicure techniques. You will gain hands-on experience in nail treatments, hand, arm, foot and leg massage, precise polish and French polish application, paraffin wax treatments and hot oil treatments. You will also learn proper salon and spa sanitation procedures in accordance with the Canada Health Act. Models required. Quotas required.
ONLINE OPTION
This class requires the student to study ahead of attending a mandatory instructor-led Q& A. You will receive online access to this class through our online school, Moodle, two weekends prior to the week of your scheduled Day 1 Q&A session. Attending a scheduled Q & A session is a mandatory element of your class, and may also be open to our hybrid students.
For classes that have a couple weeks between them, the required theory would be done online again before starting the next scheduled Q&A
Theory exams to be done online and must be completed 12pm (MT) (2 days prior to practical exam)
Prior to attending the first Q&A session, please complete the following:
Module 1 - Theory
Read the manuals for Manicure and Pedicure.
Module 2 - First live Q&A
(Day 1 of class) at 7pm (MT) First scheduled Moodle Q&A - covering kit + manicure + pedicure.
OPTIONAL: Students can coordinate this with the instructor to do one of their initial manicures or pedicures live for instant feedback on the service provided.
There will be 2 weeks to do quotas (5 manicures + 7 pedicures)
Module 3- Second live Q&A
(Day 2 of class) - This is scheduled for 2pm (MT)
Module 4 - Third live Q&A

With this 3 day Advanced Pedicure course (taught in a hybrid format), you will learn the techniques of specialized and advanced pedicure services. The course provides the comprehensive theory and practical training required to recognize and treat various foot and toenail disorders. Topics covered include foot and toenail anatomy, diseases and disorders, diabetic and pregnancy foot care. You will also receive comprehensive hands on experience and knowledge in electric filing, corn reduction and treatment of ingrown, deformed and fungal toenails. In addition, the course focuses on revolutionary light. cured resin designed for toenail reconstruction. You will also learn proper salon and spa sanitation procedures in accordance with the Canada Health Act. Models required. Quotas required.
ONLINE OPTION
This class requires the student to study ahead of attending a mandatory instructor-led Q & A. You will receive online access to this class through our online school, Moodle, two weekends prior to the week of your scheduled Day 1. Students must attend the webcam-enabled Q & A with your Instructor, where your questions can be answered and your readiness to begin Quota submission can be gauged.

NAIL CORRECTION WITH ONYFIX®
The principle of the Onyfix® Nail Correction System is to bring an involuted nail back into a natural shape through normal growth without any tension or pain, following more or less proximal application of the Onyfix® Nail Correction System using a hardened composite. Your foot care expert first prepares the nail prior to application. The Onyfix® composite is then spread on the nail and shaped correctly. After the composite has hardened, the nail correction system fixes the nail in its proximal shape without any tension.
The Onyfix® Nail Correction System ensures that this shape is retained as the nail grows naturally. When treatment has been completed successfully, your foot care expert removes the Onyfix® Nail Correction System, a process that is also pain-free.
THE COMPONENTS
The Onyfix® Nail Correction System consists of Onyfix® Primer, which acts as an adhesion agent, as well as Onyfix® Soft composite and Onyfix® Hard composite. Onyfix® Soft composite is suitable for small, thin and children’s nails. Onyfix® Hard composite is used for severely malformed nails, particularly on D1. In order to use the nail correction system to the best possible effect, you will need to roughen the surface of the nail, a cleaning agent to degrease the nail, cotton swabs to apply the primer, a metal spatula to shape the composite, curved cannulas for Onyfix® Soft composite, an LED blue light to polymerize the composite, and a ceramic bur or large toe nail nipper to correct or remove the nail correction system, if needed.
